Blackstone, the new LTP solution promoted by PIATRAONLINE has a black, persistent color, like a night without stars. But this is precisely its function – restoring the appearance of faded dark natural stone. Penetrating into stone pores, Blackstone discharges microparticles, hard to remove after curing. The result is that natural stone remains dark.
PIATRAONLINE has plenty of dark colored stones – Padang Dark Granite with many finishes (flamed granite), Nero Riven Slate (slate), Black Slate Panel (slate panel), marble and mosaic Nero Marquina, Black Angel pebble, Black Mini French Pattern (French Pattern Marble) and more. This solution is also excellent for restoring the anthracite gray color of some paving or flooring such as those from cobblestone (granite quartz stone) and marble Kavala (bush hammered marble).
The natural stone though, is a unique and singular product, in which every tile has different colors or shades. Hence, a decision to use Blackstone should be analysed carefully, because once applied is hard to remove, it also covers tiles and joints, which will also modify color. Sealing joints with Blackstone also ensures protection against stains and water.
Designed for use on exterior areas, Blackstone was produced to meet specific weather conditions – rain, sun, radiation, wind, storm and the freeze-thaw cycles. This is why the stone treated with Blackstone improves its qualities and becomes more durable.
Consumption is excellent: 1 L per 30 sqm and is also very easy to appy. Apply to multiple layers (maximum 3) based on the color you want to obtain. Allow 2 hours between applications. Solution does not need special tools to be applied. Depending on surface brush, mop or paint roller are required. Surface can be used within 4 hours from the final application.
